Cars: Launch of Full Throttle at House Manila

In a previous post, I uploaded a press release for the launch of the new TV show, Full Throttle, on the History Channel.   Last July 16, Thursday, that event became a milestone in our family life, especially for Patrick who had to leave Top Gear Philippines as a full-time writer to concentrate on this endeavor.  As mentioned, the launch was held at House Manila in Resorts World and it was a resounding success having many car manufacturers, advertisers and press people in attendance.

The event naturally started with the registration of the guests.  Everyone was invited and encouraged to take pictures with the motorcycles and cars on display in the lobby for a chance to win special prizes in the raffle.  Of course, they had to use the hashtags #FullThrottle and #FullThrottleOnHistory to be eligible.  Guests were even given the chance to try out the Segway much to their delight!

After dinner, the program proper started with an introduction  of what Full Throttle is all about by Program
Manager, Rommel Dizon.

The hosts of the show, Rhian Ramos and Sam YG, arrived with aplomb and set the tone for the night as each drove onto the venue on their Segway transports.  They continued to entertain the guests throughout the night proving that they can handle hosting duties even though they're relatively newcomers to the field.

They then introduced the Full Throttle sizzle plug as shown below, for everyone to see.

It was then the turn of Mr. Jacque Ruby, the A & E Networks Country Manager, to say a few words.

Now, the full team behind Full Throttle was called onto the stage for the celebratory wine toasting.  The team from L-R:  Niko Sebastian, Jacque Ruby, Patrick Tadeo, Rhian Ramos, Rommel Dizon and Sam YG.

After that, everyone was invited to the OPEN BAR! :)

Now, all the details here were provided by Patrick and pictures were courtesy of House Manila.  I'm just proud to be part of the process and fully support Patrick in this new line of work.

Congrats TEAM BEYOND WHEELS!! :)
