Celebrating Family Day at the Kids' Respective Schools

2019 February/March

This February, the kids were busy with their respective celebrations of Family Day in their schools.

The highlight of Dana's Family Day is their award-winning performance of their Hip Hop Dance number.

Dylan's class had a lot of activities so you'll see a lot of pictures of those :)

Still, all of it was good fun! :)

Dana's Family Day celebration was held last February 23.  Honestly, I wasn't that interested in their activities probably because Dana wasn't interested either :)  I guess since they're teenagers, they think that games with their parents are silly.  I also noticed though that this year, there weren't as many parents who attended compared to, let's say, when Dana was in Kindergarten.  It was probably because it was a long weekend and most families have gone out-of-town so they couldn't make it to the festivities.

Still, I looked forward to watching Dana perform with her class since they won as Champions in the Hip Hop Dance competition.  I'm so proud of them all.  I saw them while they were practicing and I knew just how much effort they put into this production.  I'm glad that they won!

Dylan's Family Day Celebrations was held last March 1st.  Dylan was pretty excited because he knew that his teachers were preparing a lot of games for them to participate in.  What's more, both classes of Teacher Ressie were celebrating together so Dylan met up with his other classmates too :)

The parents were so supportive!  They even participated in the games which made the kids so happy! :)

I wasn't able to take pictures of Dylan participating because I was also with him haha Thankfully, one of the parents was kind enough to take a video of us during one of the games.

After their strenuous activities, everyone became so engrossed with their snacks, even the parents and nobody took pictures! haha

Dylan was certainly very lucky to have amazing teachers this year!  Thank you po !
