Volkswagen Philippines' 6th Anniversary and their Child Safety Initiative

21 August 2019

Today, we attended Volkswagen Philippines 6th Anniversary celebration at Trinoma, QC.  During the event, they formally launched the new Lavida, Lavida Club Edition and Lavida Club Edition+ Models and they held Volkswagen PH's Child Safety Initiative to educate parents and children regarding road safety.

Thank you Volkswagen Philippines for inviting us to celebrate with you!  We had a blast! :) More Power! :D

The event started pretty much with everyone gathering and chatting over drinks and snacks.  Some took the time to take photos of the cars.

Then the celebration formally opened as the host, James Deakin, welcomed everyone.

He then gave the floor to Mr. Felipe Estrella, President of Volkswagen Philippines, who gave us a brief rundown of the Lavida Club Edition variants.  Special promos and freebies were announced for buyers during the event.

Lunch was served for guests around noon and we were able to take photos with the special cars after :)

Later, we were approached by Volkswagen staff who invited Dylan to participate in their Child Safety Initiative program that raises awareness for children's road safety as both pedestrians and passengers.  Parents and children were asked to participate in a seminar about road safety where they were taught about crossing the road safely and recognizing traffic lights and signs.

After the lecture, the kids got to test their knowledge and skills through a virtual reality game.  Dylan had fun but he was nervous because he was the only one experiencing it :)  He kept asking me if I was beside him and he kept asking me to "look" at what he was doing LOL  I think he reached Level 4 in the game before time ran out :)

Once the game was done, he was given a road safety badge as proof that they completed the lecture and passed the challenges :)

Thank you for an enjoyable and education time, Volkswagen Philippines!! More Power to you! :D
