I started this blog as an alternative to talking to my mom who died so suddenly. It has evolved since then as an online journal for my family's adventures and misadventures - our travels, our dining out, our entertainment and so much more! Feel free to leave your reactions :)
#FullThrottlePH 1st CARavan at Market, Market
Today was the start of the first Full Throttle Caravan at Market, Market in Bonifacio Global City. It is a showcase of your favorite car brands that runs from August 28 to August 30. Participating brands include: Chevrolet, Ford, Foton, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Mahindra, Mazda, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota. Sam YG and Rhian Ramos, hosts of Full Throttle, were there for the ribbon-cutting and to get the ball rolling :)
It's just too bad that traffic in Manila is terrible. It used to be that there was a rush hour where traffic and gridlocks are expected. Now, traffic is the norm and wherever you go, even when you use the side streets, you still end up crawling at a snail's pace to get to where you need to go.
We were coming from Manila and it took us 2 hours to get to Bonifacio Global City.We missed the opening but got to see a crowd around the event.
It's a good time for the CARavan because there's an ongoing sale at the mall which means a lot of people coming to browse. Though of course, not everyone can afford to go impulse buying for a car, it's a good chance for people to get more information and examine the cars that they dream of buying. And the best thing about the CARavan is that you have all these great car brands in one setting. It will save you time and you can easily compare one against the other.
There are also kiosks around the place where car accessories and other products are being sold.
We just took a break at Starbucks because the kids got hungry.
Oh and if you want, you can go to this album: #FullThrottlePH's 1st Car Caravan: People's Choice Award Entries and vote for your favorite car by clicking "Like". It's all in the name of fun!
So, you have two more days to head over to Market, Market!! See you there!
