The kids were both excited to get their vaccinations because it would allow them to go out of the house without any issues. At this point, vaccinations cards are required in most establishments to contain the spread of the virus.
We went to the nearest vaccination center, which was about a 10-minute walk from our house. We were all equipped with face masks and shields as part of protocol. At the school entrance (the designated vaccination center), the step-by-step process was displayed to ensure everyone's compliance.
Moving further inside, there were only a handful of people availing of the Pfizer vaccination, so the kids breezed through the procedures. Each step only took a few minutes. They submitted their paperwork, listened to precautionary instructions, and answered relevant questions by the Health Officers.
We were happy that they were finally able to get vaccinated. This meant that we could go out of the house without any issues. We could visit relatives, and they could visit us, just in time for Christmas.
