A milestone: Dana's Grade 10 Moving Up Day

 18 May 2021

Congratulations Dana on finishing your Junior High School!!!

We are so proud of you!!

We love you!!!

Onward to Senior High School!

And so ends Dana's journey through Junior High School. She has been in her school since she was in Kindergarten and it kinda feels sad that, because of this pandemic, she and all her other batchmates, weren't able to celebrate this milestone together.

To me, it feels like they should have been able to cherish the event, you know, getting up on stage and getting your certificate. Having that last day to spend with your classmates, because, you know, you're never going to share a classroom with them again. You'll be heading out to different schools and different paths.

But what can you do? This is the reality because of the pandemic. So, we just live with it and choose to be happy :)

Their Moving Up Ceremony was done via Zoom and Facebook so we were all glued to the computer monitor.  Some classmates were able to cast their broadcast on their TV sets so they have a larger screen. :) Such is the world we live in :)

I'm proud to say that Dana was in the Honor Roll and received an Academic Award. :)

Parents of Honor students were also given Honorary Awards hahahaha

After the program, we just took some pictures to commemorate the event.

And then, we just had a simple celebration of cake, ice cream and Mang Inasal chicken.
