My Birthday Celebration with Family at Samgyeop Masarap, SM San Lazaro

Samgyupsal cravings satisfied on my birthday!! While planned birthday parties are great, I think unplanned and surprise get-togethers are awesome!

Here we are at Samgyeop Masarap in SM San Lazaro to partake of their delicious all-you-can-eat samgyeopsal (samgyupsal) or Korean grilled pork belly.

Needless to say, our own bellies were full at the end of the meal :)

The following two pictures show just how much food you can eat with their Unlimited BBQ dishes.  You can choose from Pork (P399), Beef (P499) or Chicken (P349) with 6 side dishes and rice included.  The side dishes were kimchi, baby potatoes, anchovies, pickled radish, onions and veggies.  There were dipping sauces as well and cheese!

Because it was a special occasion and this was the first time we ate here, we went all out and ordered all the meat options - Pork, Beef and Chicken :) Oh and you can choose to have Plain Pork and Beef or their Marinated versions.

Honestly, we enjoyed our dining experience at Samgyeop Masarap.  The meat was flavorful, the side dishes were plenty and we couldn't grill fast enough haha  Also, the servers were quick to refill our meat orders despite having full capacity at that time

However, they brought out the birthday meat plate a little late, when we had already our fill of the meat we ordered LOL  I think they did that on purpose hahaha So that pretty plate of meat was left behind untouched LOL

 

So, in the end, we were happy together on my birthday.  Dana enjoyed grilling her own meat and ate it lavishly with cheese :) Lolo Ben and Dylan had their usual eating competition with their meat in lettuce wrap :)  The rest of us were busy grilling and eating on a repeat cycle hahaha

It was a good day.  :)
