The invitation was given last March when there were still classes and we immediately put the date in our calendar so we wouldn't forget.
The kids had a great time and they can't wait to see each other again when school starts. Happy Birthday Augustine! :)
We arrived early at Shakey's because it was just a few minutes away from our place. They were still setting up but it was actually a good time to catch up with my co-parents who were already there.
While we were chatting, the kids were given a mask and a cape which the kids promptly put on.
We grouped them together and took a picture of them before the festivities started :)
The kids participated in the various games prepared by the Shakey's crew. There was a "Boat is Sinking" game, a "Bring Me" game, a "Trivia about Augustine" game. Dylan won prizes in Bring Me and the trivia games. :)
The activities took a break when it was time to eat. There was a lot of food served. There was pizza, chicken and mojos, salad, carbonara and spaghetti. Those of us sharing a table couldn't finish what was served :)
Then Capt. Shakey's made his appearance and the kids couldn't help themselves and launched themselves at him LOL
Dylan was a little apprehensive but finally gathered his courage and struck a pose :D
Everyone gathered for a photo with Captain Shakey's too. Again, hard to take pictures with everyone so just kept clicking LOL
Finally found an opportunity for a selfie with Capt. Shakey's :D
We were given cupcakes for take-out by Mommy Daria when it was time to go. I just want to say Thank You to Mommy Daria for inviting us. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously :)
