Family: Luke's Christening

12 July 2015

After 3 days of "No Classes" because of three consecutive typhoons in the Philippines, we were all happy to get out of the house and attend Stevie and Toni's baby boy Luke's Baptism.  We all trooped to the Christ the King Church in Libis.  The venue for the reception was also within the church's grounds (very handy!).

It was a simple celebration made special because of the presence of family and friends which is as it should be.  We arrived and were immediately offered food.  There was spaghetti, chicken lollipops, apple cinnamon tartlets, clubhouse sandwiches, potato wedges and garlic bread.  We all loved the spaghetti and in fact we took home some of it because there was so much left :)

The brothers Stevie and Patrick with Baby Luke :) He was so cute and he even smiled a bit :)

Here are the kiddos in front of the snack table :) Of course, they loved the marshmallows with candy frosting and the Stick-o wafer sticks.

Here they are with Lance and Hannah, their cousins :)

We chatted a while after most of the guests have left but the day soon came to an end.  It was good that we saw them again :)
