Fun Finds at the Christmas Toys and Collectibles 2016

17 December 2016

As Christmas approaches, I pay particular attention to the bazaars and toy fairs that are being held.  I've already inked the Christmas Toys and Collectibles Fair 2016 on my calendar as soon as I saw their ads.   I didn't really have any particular toy in mind but it's always a joy to browse.   I just hated that it was in SM Megamall because parking is terrible there haha So, entrance was P100/head and off we went!

We walked around first just to see what's in store.  Since I wasn't looking for any specific product, I kept my eyes open for interesting stuff.  Naturally, majority of the exhibitors have collectible toys - Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Gundam and so much more!  We noticed a lot of Funko Pop toys being sold everywhere.  Some were sold at P250 each, P400 each, and P550 each, while some were sold at Buy 3 for P1000 or Buy 3 for P1200.

This exhibitor accepts Chibi Commissions.

There were a number of exhibitors of comic books.

There was even this Alien Egg and Facehugger replica that's on sale for PhP22,000.

Dana was super excited because there were a lot of Japanese anime products and Dylan was ogling all the Hot Wheels.

The Keybie Cafe booth was filled with these cute chibi keychains and phone charms.  There were so many designs, it's hard to pick just one.  Fans of Naruto, Hetalia, Soul Eater, Doctor Who, Five Nights at Freddy's, My Little Pony and other popular characters will have a field day with these :)

There were a lot of Hot Wheels sellers.  We even came across one with a Buy 1 Take 1 for P100 promo.

Of course, we had to stop by the Geekerie booth!

There was also a huge display of the Lego Batman movie.

There were many cosplayers walking about but the kids were able to stop and take a picture with Spidey! :)

Baymax was at the entrance

Dana was able to buy these posters of Black Butler (P180 for 8).  They were made of tarp material.

Dana also chanced upon these waterproof stickers - P50 for 3.

She also bought this Italy from Hetalia keychain from the Keybie Cafe booth.  It was originally a phone charm but we asked if we could have it made into a keychain.  They gladly accommodated our request at no extra cost.  Thank you! :)

We didn't know how much time passed while we were at the Toy Fair.  There were so many items to inspect, so many toys to marvel at and so many special items that you wish you had money to buy hahaha
